3 Day Safari to Serengeti with Flights
Recommended when the Great Wildebeest Migration is in the north of the Serengeti, from June to October.
Day before safari: Your safari guide will come to your hotel for your pre-climb briefing at approximately 1800, during which he will introduce himself, brief you on everything that will be happening during the safari, and answer any questions you may have.
Day 1: Collected from your hotel at 1100 and transferred to Arusha Airport for the Coastal Aviation flight at 1300, arriving at Kogatende at 1505 where you'll be met by your driver to begin your afternoon safari in an open-sided vehicle. Dinner and overnight at Nasikia Migration Camp.
Day 2: After breakfast, game drives in the Mara River region in pursuit of the Wildbeest Migration and in the hope of witnessing the most dramatic event in the world's annual safari calendar - the crossing of the Mara River. Overnight at Nasikia Migration Camp.
Day 3: Morning game drives in the Mara River region.
For those flying to Kilimanjaro International Airport for onward flights - Transfer to Kogatende airstrip for Coastal Aviation flight at 1455, arriving at Kilimanjaro International Airport at 1830, in time to check-in for evening flight.
For those returning to Arusha for the night - Transfer to Kogatende airstrip for Coastal Aviation flight at 1455, arriving at Arusha Airport at 1820, where you'll be met by a TK driver and transferred to your hotel in Arusha.
