7 Day TK Lemosho Climb with a 4 Day Safari to Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Ndutu
This safari itinerary is recommended from November to April when we expect the migration to be in the south.
Arrival
13th February 2026: Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) at 2030 on flight (KLM 576).
Once you have completed customs formalities and collected your luggage, please exit the airport building and then look out for our driver who should be wearing a black Team Kilimanjaro t-shirt and carrying a placard with your name on it, who will be waiting under a shelter for you at the meeting point outside. Our driver will transfer you to Outpost Lodge for your overnight stay.
14th February 2026: You will be collected from your accommodation at 0900 and transferred to a local coffee plantation in Arusha. Upon arrival, at Bean-to-cup Coffee Plantation Tour, where you will learn about the cultivation, harvesting, and processing of Tanzanian Arabica coffee.
After the tour, you will be transferred back to your accommodation.
Your chief guide will come to Outpost Lodge for your pre-climb briefing at approximately 1800, during which he will introduce himself, brief you on everything that will be happening throughout the duration of the climb, check any kit that you may have concerns over, issue any kit hire items that have been requested and he will also deal with any final pre-climb administration and answer any questions you may have.
Kilimanjaro
15th February 2026: Your mountain guide and supporting crew will collect you from your hotel at approximately 0730 to transfer you to Kilimanjaro's Lemosho Gate to start your open 7 day TK Lemosho βAdvantage Seriesβ climb, finishing on 21st February 2026.

21st February 2026: We will collect you from Mweka Village when you finish your climb and will return you to The Outpost Lodge for your overnight stay.
Optional: If requested, your safari guide will come to your hotel at approximately 1800, during which he will introduce himself, brief you on everything that will be happening during the safari, and answer any questions you may have.
Safari
22nd February 2026: Your safari guide will collect you from your hotel in Arusha at approximately 0730 to start your safari. Transfer from Arusha to Tarangire National Park for a game drive. Late afternoon transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area for overnight at Melia Ngorongoro Crater on the Crater's rim.
23rd February 2026: Early morning descent into Ngorongoro Crater for game drive in hopes of witnessing the Big 5. In Africa, the Big Five is made up of the lion, rhinoceros, leopards, elephant and Cape buffalo. All of these animals are viewable within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, including the crater and are protected thanks to the wildlife conservation efforts of Tanzania.
Afternoon transfer to the Lake Ndutu region of Ngorongoro Conservation Area with visit to the Maasai boma, Olduvai Gorge and Shifting sands.
Late afternoon transfer to TWC Lake Masek Tented Lodge for your first night's stay.
24th February 2026: Experience full-day game drives in the heart of the Great Migration during the birthing season, with the hope of witnessing the birth of a newborn calf.
In the late afternoon, you will be transferred to TWC Lake Masek Tented Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
25th February 2026: Morning game drives in the Lake Ndutu area of Ngorongoro Conservation Area within the heart of the Wildebeest Migration.
Afternoon transfer to Kia Lodge for your day room to freshen up before your flight home at 2135.

Departure
25th February 2025: You will have use of a day room at Kia Lodge prior to your departure. This includes your airport transfer, allowing for a seamless connection to Kilimanjaro Airport.
Please ensure you are ready for your transfer at least three hours before your scheduled departure to allow sufficient time for check-in. Your flight details are KL 0569.
