8 Day Climb with Safari to Ngorongoro Crater

Arrival
17th September 2022: Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO).
Once you have completed customs formalities and collected your luggage, please exit the airport building and then look out for our driver who should be wearing a black Team Kilimanjaro t-shirt and carrying a placard with your name on it, who will be waiting under a shelter for you at the meeting point outside. Our driver will transfer you to The Outpost Lodge for your overnight stay.
18th September 2022: At leisure in Arusha. Let us know if you need assistance with a town tour, buying Tanzanite, etc, and we'll send a guide to assist. Overnight at Outpost Lodge.
Your chief guide will come to your hotel for your pre-climb briefing at approximately 1800, during which he will introduce himself, brief you on everything that will be happening throughout the duration of the climb, check any kit that you may have concerns over, issue any kit hire items that have been requested and he will also deal with any final pre-climb administration and answer any questions you may have.
Kilimanjaro
19th September 2022: Your mountain guide and supporting crew will collect you from your hotel at approximately 0730 to transfer you to Kilimanjaro's Lemosho Gate to start your open 8 day TK Lemosho βAdvantage Seriesβ climb, finishing on 26th June 2022.

26th September 2022: We will collect you from Mweka Village. Ordinarily, we would stop at Moshi for lunch en route to Arusha for overnight. However, since it is your wish to proceed straight to safari, please:
- Be ready to descend all the way to Mweka Camp at 3090m altitude on the penultimate day of your climb.
- Note that we will provide packed lunches to allow you to begin the journey back to Arusha immediately on exiting Kilimanjaro National Park.
Safari
Late morning: Transfer back to Outpost Lodge to collect left luggage, change vehicles, and proceed directly to the Crater rim within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, for overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge.
27th September 2022: Descend into Ngorongoro Crater for full day game drive before a late afternoon transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your late evening departing flight home.
